The results show that CureSense® identifies the time of maximum curing in rubber, on-line in injection moulding.The system is integrated with the press for automatic opening of the mould at the time of maximum curing. The benefits of this novel measurement system are shorter production times, and improved, consistent quality. The
system and its method are unique, being the first on-line cure time control system for rubber in industrial applications. Patent applications in all important markets are pending. |
