Low e-coatings for improved thermal insulation
Low e-coatings emit only low amounts of thermal radiation into the surroundings and can therefore be used to improve the thermal insulation of a wall construction, for example. Dr. Jochen Manara, Bavarian Center for Applied Energy Research, talks about polymer-based pigment coatings on flexible substrates with spectrally selective characteristics to improve thermal properties.
