Dr.Youlong Xu, male, born in 24th August 1965. He was received his B.Sc., M Sc., and Ph.D. degrees from Department of Electronic Engineering of Xi’an Jiaotong University in 1986, 1989, and 1996, respectively. Since he became an assistant of Xi’an Jiaotong University in June 1989, his main research work has been on Electronic Materials & Devices, especially Electrolytic capacitor, supercapacitor and lithium ion battery, Conducting polymer and its application, Nano composites on dielectric and their application. Since then, he was constantly promoted to be a Lecturer in 1991, an Associate Professor in 1997, and a Professor in 2001. From Oct. 2001 to Oct. 2002, he was a Visiting Professor of Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan. Since April 2007, he has been the head of department of electronic science and technology of Xi’an Jiaotong University.
