PeryleneDiimide(PDI),PolyhedralOligomericSilsesquioxanes(POSS)andC60havefoundawidevarietyofapplicationsinoptoelectronicdevices.Inthiscontribution,anovelPerylenebisimidedyecovalentlyjoinedtoC60andPOSSthroughflexiblepropylconnection(C60-PDI-POSS)hasbeensynthesized.Thesolutionself-assembledC60-PDI-POSSisasymmetricingeometryandsolubleincommonorganicsolvents.ByuseofUV/Visspectrumandsteady-statefluorescencespectrummeasurement,theself-assemblyofthiscompoundindifferentsolventhavingdifferentpolarityhasbeendiscussed.AggregationhasbeenobservedonUVspectrafromlowconcentrationtohighconcentrationinchloroform.
