Inthepastdecade,considerableeffortshavebeenmadetodevelopphosphorescentorganiclight-emittingdiodes(OLEDs),inwhichthesignificantpointtoemphasizeistopreventthebackexcitationtransferfromtheguestmoleculesofheavymetalcomplexestothehostmaterials.Bipolarmoleculesbearingthesuitableelectron-richand-deficientmoietiesinthemolecularstructureshaveattractedmuchattention,sinceabalanceddensityofchargeandhighefficiencycouldbeattainedbysimultaneouslysupplyingtheelectronandholetoelectroluminescent(EL)materialssandwichedbetweentwoelectrodes.1-3Todate,thereisagreatlimitationtoillustratethestructure–performancerelationshipinmoleculardesignforOLEDs.
