Polymerblendfilmshavebeenafocusofscientificinterestsincetheyplayancrucialroleinmanyapplications[1,2].Tomaketherelationshipbetweenpropertiesandstructuresclear,manyresearcherspaidattentiontophaseseparation,dewettingandinterplaybetweentheminthesefilms[3,4]Inthiswork,wetrackeddewettingandphaseseparationinpoly(methylmethacrylate)(PMMA)andpoly(styreneran-acrylonitrile)(SAN)blendultrathinfilms(thickness=8.9nm,~1Rg)onSisubstrateuponsolventannealingbyatomicforcemicroscopy(AFM)Ourresultsshowedthatdewettingpathwayofourblendfilmshasgoodagreementwiththatinthermalannealing.
