Forfiber-reinforcedthermoplasticcomposite,mechanicalpropertyisdirectlydecidedbyfiberorientation,whichisaffectedbymeltflowability.ItiseffectivetotestmeltflowabilitybyusingArchimedeanspiralmoldcl,2].Inthispaper,injectionmoldingoffiber-reinforcedthermoplasticcompositewassimulatedbyMoldflowsoftwareinArchimedeanspiralmeltfluiditytestmold.Fillingandfiberdistributioninchanneloffiber-reinforcedPPandPETwerestudiedunderdifferentprocessparameters.Theanalysisshowedthatthemiddleofspecimen‘saveragefiberorientationwasgoodandcore-shellstructurewasnotobvious.Buttheflow‘saveragefiberorientationclosetogateandthefrontwherewaspoorandcore-shellstructurewasobvious.Fiberorientationofonesideofthechannelnearthegatewasworsethantheothersidebecauseoftheeffectofcentrifugalforce.Thedifferencewasmoreobviouswiththeincreasingofinjectionspeedwhichreducedslowlyfirstandthenincreasedbythedirectionofflow.Injectionpressureandinjectionratehadmoreeffectonthefiberorientation.
