Distiller‘sDriedGrainswithSolubles(DDGS)isusedtoreplacestarchasamajorfeedstockmaterialtoproducebio-adhesive.TheexperimentalconditionsandthepreparationprocessoftheDDGSbioadhesiveareoutlined.TheproductionandperformanceofDDGSadhesivesweredirectlyinfluencedbytheheatingtemperature,heatingtimeandconcentrationofhydroxide(NaOH)solution.Whentheheatingtemperaturewas90°C,theheatingtimewas10min,andtheconcentrationofNaOHsolutionwas30g/L,theyieldoftheDDGSadhesivewas61.6%wt/drywt.TheDDGSadhesivewaslesssensitivitytohumiditythancommercialstarchadhesive.
