Inthisarticle,regeneratedcellulosefiberwassuccessfullypreparedbywetspinningwithcellulosecarbamate(CC)whichwassynthesizedbysupercriticalCO2-assistedimpregnation.ThestructureandpropertiesofthefiberwerestudiedbymeansofKjeldahlNitrogenElementAnalysis,Fouriertransforminfraredspectroscopy(FTIR),Wide-angleX-raydiffractometer(WAXD),13CNMRspectrometer,Scanningelectronmicroscopy(SEM),andThermogravimetry(TG).Theresultsshowedthatthefiberpossessedsimilarcircularcross-sections,indicatingarelativelydensestructureandcelluloseIIfamilycrystalstructure.Therefore,thecellulosecarbamateregeneratedfiberpresentedaninterestingalternativetoviscosefibersandwassuitableforuseintextilesbecauseofitseconomicalandeco-friendlyprocess.
