Self-assemblybehaviorofamphiphiliccopolymerswasstudied.Asrevealedbytheself-consistentfieldtheoryresults,inmeltstatethecopolymerscanself-associateintocylinderorlamellarstructuresdependingonthearchitecturalparameters,whileinselectivesolvents,thecopolymerarefoundtobeabletoself-assembletoavarietyofmicrostructures,suchascircle-likemicelles,line-likemicelles.Itwasalsofoundexperimentallythatthepolypeptidebasedcopolymercouldself-assembletoformpolymericmicelles.Themolecularstructureandchainconformationofthepolypeptideplaysanimportantroleindeterminingthemicellestructures.
