Easycationicdyeableco-polyester(ECDP)fiberswerecharacterizedbyX-raydiffractionanalysisandFT-IRspectraanalysis.Theeffectsofmicro-morphologyonthepropertiesofECDPandPETfiberwerediscussedbytensileproperty,moistureregainandelectricalconductivitytests.ExperimentalresultsshowedthattheadditionofsulfonicacidgroupdecreasedthecrystallinitydegreeofECDPfiber.ComparedtoPETfiber,thetensilestrengthandinitialmodulusofECDPfiberdecreasedby14%and18%respectively,whiletheelongationincreasedby17%.ThemoistureregainofECDPfiberwashigherandspecificresistancewaslowerthanthoseofPETfiberrespectively.
