Inthispaper,theeffectofpHvalueontherheologicalbehaviorandtheelectrospinnabilityoftheregeneratedsilkfibroin/sericin(RSF/SS)blendsolutionswerestudied.Themorphology,structureandpropertiesoftheelectrospunfibersfromtheblendsolutionswerealsoinvestigated.ItwasfoundthatwiththedecreaseofpHvalue,theapparentviscosityoftheblendsolutionsincreased,whiletheaveragediameteranddiameterdistributionoftheresultantelectrospunfibersdecreased.Inaddition,loweringthepHvalueofthesolutioncouldinducetheconformationaltransitionofRSFfromrandomcoil/α-helixtoβ-sheetstructureandfurtherimprovethethermalpropertiesoftheelectrospunRSF/SSfibers.
