DOWXLATMfiberisanewpolyolefinelasticityfiber,whichhasbeenwidelyappliedtoelasticfabric.DOWXLATMelasticfabricprovidesanadditionalpressurecomfortforfunctionalwear.ThisstudyaimedtoestablishtheeffectonclothingpressureofDOWXLATMelasticfabrics.Inthispaper,severalelasticfabricswithdifferentproportionofDOWXLATMfiberwerecollectedtomakeacomparativeanalysis.ClothingpressureandthemultiplemechanicalpropertiesoffabricsweremeasuredbyusingapressuretestingsystemandKawabataEvaluationSystem(KES)respectively.SPSS(StatisticalProductandServiceSolutions)wasusedtoidentifythefactorswhichinfluencedtheclothingpressuresignificantly.Theresultscertifythatthephysicalandmechanicalpropertiesoffabricsinfluencedtheclothingpressure.Especially,thetensilepropertiessignificantlyaffectontheclothingpressure.
