Thecompoundfinishagentofnanometermaterial(TiO2)andorganicfluorineisusedinthefinishesofpurecotton,cotton/polyesterandpurepolyesterknittedfabricsfinishinginordertoimprovingtheirwaterandoilrepellence.Theinfluenceoftheamountofthecompoundagent,curingtimeandtemperatureonthefinishingresultsisinvestigatedwithoptimizedparametersobtained.Thestudyshowsthatthewaterandoilrepellencyoftheknittedfabricsfinishedwiththecompoundofnanometermaterial(TiO2)andorganicfluorineweremuchbetterthanthosewithorganicfluorinealone.Thewaterrepellency,andoilrepellencyofthesamplesfinishedwiththecompoundaregreatlyimprovedresepectivelyaccordingtoStandards,AATCC-22,andAATCC-11,andhavegooddurabilitytowashing.Thechangeofthefabrics’tensilestrengthandbreathepropertybeforeandafterthefinishingaretested.Theknittedfabricsfinishedwiththecompoundagentcanreducethenumberofwashing,savewateranddetergents,andreducetheamountoflifewaterpollution.
